I have been hiking alot. Although now that it's starting to get so hot, have to start
really early in the morning. I saw a rattlesnake on the path @ Pinnacle Peak on
Saturday. It was only the 2nd time I've seen one in the wild.

Just returned from New Orleans where I spent some time over Easter.
Stayed in the French Quarter and
the architecture there is fabulous. I
had not been back to the area since K
atrina. Sad to see how much
of the damage has not been fixed and the plight of so many people.
In two weeks I will be going to Palm Springs to give an art
tour for members of an exclusive country club. One of my pieces
hangs in the clubhouse and is a landscape of the mountains in the
    area. It measures 4' x 10'.

Great to hear from all our artists and realize they are accomplishing so much. They
are quite busy and most of all are enjoying life. Keep On Everyone and keep us
informed of different happenings in your busy lives.

Taught a theatre class on "How to Draw." This class teaches the students about self
     expression thru
cartooning and drawing. Ages of  students were 6 to 18. They were
such an attentive and happy group. Beginning in May I will teach a class for 3 to 5
year olds on How to reuse and recycle materials to become art. A teaching in re-collage.

     there if all works out.

Went to the Chihuly Exhibit at Desert Botannical Gardens last night.  Took

 LKG CONTEMPORARY STATEMENT

We have been all over the world searching for the best in Modern Abstract Art.
We've been to the big shows like Sofa Chicago, Sofa New York, Art Expo
New York and Art Expo Las Vegas. What we found is that the more experience
the artists have the more appealing the work. Pretty simple math isn't it.
We have assembled a group of young artists that have more experience
painting than most artists have after they retire. They've spent many hours
perfecting their work and have been artists since childhood. They create on
steel, canvas, plexiglass, glass, paper and panel. Their work is incredible
and is being purchased by private collectors, interior designers, hotels,
restaurants and Project and Resource Managers all over the world.
